Wallace Instruments have been making precision testing instruments for the rubber and plastics industry for over 75 years. Their customers run from natural rubber producers in equatorial countries to high-tech aerospace manufacturers. Every one of them buys on accuracy.

The website needed to catch up with the instruments. The catalogue is the heart of the business, quotation is the conversion that matters, and a worldwide network of certified agents handles sales and servicing locally. The new build puts all three to work.

The build

A bespoke WordPress block theme, written for this catalogue and nobody else’s. Thirteen bespoke blocks carry the editorial system: tabs, timelines, FAQs, glass panels, featured products and an agent directory among them. The team assembles pages from a kit designed for their content, not a page builder fighting it.

The catalogue holds 21 instruments across eight categories, from ageing ovens to viscosity testing. The Product Finder takes a buyer from property to instrument in two choices.

Wallace sells worldwide through certified agents. The directory routes each enquiry to the right regional contact by country, so a buyer in Vietnam and a buyer in Ohio both reach someone who can actually help, first time.
