Magply is an established building product in a crowded, competitive market. Its buyers put safety first, a constant in the construction sector, and the product’s case rests on its ability to withstand fire.

The Magply team first approached us more than five years ago to create a brand and marketing materials. The work has since grown into a multilingual website and a continuing role as brand guardian, with the brand evolving to carry a growing list of applications and certificates.

The brief

Operating against fierce competition, Magply needed:

  • A distinctive brand.
  • Marketing collateral, from leaflets to exhibition pull-ups.
  • A website that presents technical qualifications, product usage and benefits clearly.
  • A site their busy team could keep up to date as the business grew.

One condition shaped the whole engagement. Magply kept gaining certifications for new applications, so from the start the brand had to be able to evolve, and the website had to work as a marketing resource while accommodating genuine technical detail.

The brand

We started with a clean logo built around a magpie, at the client’s direction.

The harder job was conveying expertise. Benefits and certifications sit prominently throughout the materials, paired with shield icons for the connection a shield has to safety and protection. Clear space and consistent hierarchy do the rest, letting the benefits come through without shouting.

The website

The site is designed in sections with a corporate structure, so the Magply team can add relevant content as and when required. It is multilingual to serve the European market, and large images and video keep a technical subject visually engaging.

We guided the brand and web development at every stage so the team understood the process. It made the project a true collaboration.

The result is a scalable, multilingual website where new content is easy to add. It showcases Magply’s technical strengths and supports the brand’s growing presence in the European market.

Brand guardianship

Since then we have acted as Magply’s brand guardian, making sure every piece of marketing and sales material has the brand properly applied. That consistency is what keeps Magply memorable and front of mind for buyers in a busy market.

Whether the job is a leaflet, a brochure or an exhibition pull-up, the design stays quiet and lets the product’s uses and benefits speak for themselves.
