The Accounting Company
A rebrand and new website to help a Cheshire accounting firm franchise its business, with online booking and a franchisee application form built in.
The Accounting Company is an accounting firm based in Cheshire. They came to us with a plan to franchise their existing business structure, and asked for a complete update of their look to support it.
That set the brief. The new brand had to appeal to existing and potential franchisees, and the website had to explain the firm’s services and the franchise opportunity clearly.
The identity
We started by exploring how accounting could come across in the brand. The answer sits in the logo: the inverted tick used by chartered accountants, taken as the main visual in the mark.
Around it, blue gradients give the identity a personal, enthusiastic feel without dropping the professionalism and expertise an accounting firm has to convey.
The website
With the branding in place, we designed and built the website. The aim was a site that is easy to use and clear about two things: what the firm does, and what the franchise offers.
The design is responsive, so it works as well on a phone as on a desktop, and the site was optimised for search from the start, with researched keywords and meta descriptions throughout.
Beyond the core pages, we built bespoke functionality to make it easier for people to engage with the firm:
- Online appointment booking
- A franchisee application form
- Social media links and feeds, to build the firm’s online presence
The outcome
Search rankings improved, and traffic to the site rose with them. Enquiries and franchise applications followed, and The Accounting Company went on to franchise the business and expand into new markets.
The brand and the site were built to support that expansion, and they did.
